There are several good examples of grassland habitat in Ontario
that exist due to the efforts of concerned citizens. The following
list contains some of the best examples.

Region
- Ancaster
Prairie Rehabilitation, in Town of Ancaster approximately
1.5 km SE of Copetown.
- Dundas
Valley Oak Savannah, Hamilton Conservation Authority, at the
western end of the valley 1 km NW of urban area of town
- Christie
Conservation Demonstration Prairie, Christie Conservation
Area, on Highway 5, west of Highway 6.
