Buttermilk Falls

Often Buttermilk Falls is dry or very low flow. This picture shows it with a fair amount of flow. The name Buttermilk came a long time ago when there used to be a larger catchment area flowing over the falls and it had a milky appearance like butter, thus it was called Buttermilk.
